shopping for success!

I realized something today. I love to shop, but I am apparently not such a huge fan of online shopping. I think it's because I'm a much more visual learner. I realized this as I was trying to deal with the fact that, yes, it looks like I am going to be a Kindergarten teacher in less than two weeks.

I was checking out the Learning How website, trying to figure out some things I might need for my new classroom, and how much this unexpected and unwanted change in plans might end up costing me. However, it was really hard to actually look at anything. I was overwhelmed. I also tried browsing Scholastic for some books, since upon unpacking my book box today, I found that I had approximately 10 Kindergarten appropriate titles, but had the same problem. It only made me more stressed out, realizing that I HAVE SO MUCH I STILL NEED. I feel so unprepared-which is NOT a feeling I am accustomed to feeling!

So, I tried going on over to American Eagle to see if my online shopping problem was limited only to school related items. Well, it was a little easier on the AE website, but still just not my thing. I did, however, find some things I would really love for back to school. (I love that I can go back to school shopping forever!)
Comfy, gray AE Favorite pant - as long as they're not too low waisted.
Cute, purple tunic ruffle top. Nice and long, with a high neck line - great for teaching!
You can never have too many plain colored t shirts! They're great because they match a lot of different styles, can look professional since there aren't any graphics, can be worn all year long if you throw a cute cardigan over top, and most importantly, they are super comfortable! AE has a TON of different colors, but both Kohls and Aeropostale have basically the same thing for a lot less. Oh, maybe next paycheck...

Until then, I'll keep trying to conquer my online shopping distaste.
