Trying Something New

So I've decided that I'm officially not a very good blog keeper. But, I have a plan! I found this cute 30 Days of Posting idea on mrsashcake's blog and I thought it looked fun! And it might also help me to post more than once a freaking month! A new season called for something new on the old Bloggy

DAY ONE: A photo of yourself and a description of how

your day was.

This is a picture of me and one of my students. Today was her last day at my school because her family is moving! Although I love the school I teach at and get so much from my students, it is often very hard to say goodbye so often on a military base. On the up side, the kids there are some of the sweetest, my compassionate, caring kids I've ever met. They know that any day they could be the "new kid" and they are always worried about others' feelings. One little boy today was even willing to give up his prize box choice for a friend who was sad!

Today was a pretty normal day. Went to work. It was rainy, which makes

me honestly pretty lazy. My kids were awfully chatty today but we ended on a good note. We took some pictures so that our friend who was moving could remember us and it was definitely a fun time:

Tonight, I'm going to a Fall themed cooking club at one of my co-worker's houses. I made Pumpkin Whoopie Pies and I can't wait to try out all the other delicious recipes!!
