Thank you for the wonderful supportive comments! Having weight loss cheerleaders out here in blog world definitely makes the process easier!
Sundays are my official weigh in days. I have OCD (literally) so I usually end up weighing everytime I go in the bathroom and notice the scale. But anyway, today was the day I officially tracked my weight for the first time and I'm down
5 POUNDS! Immediately, I thought "this can't be right. I don't
feel like I look any different. My clothes aren't fitting any better. It must be because I weighed myself at night the first time and the morning this time. This can't be right."
But then I realized: even if it really is more like 3.5 or 4 pounds, not a true 5 the point is
I'M LOSING WEIGHT. It hasn't been easy, but it also hasn't been a struggle. Even though it is a smallish number, this week motivates me to keep going strong!
In other news, those of you who know me in real life know that I've had acrylic nails for probably about 4 years now. They're always so nice and pretty and one less thing to worry about. But then, Pinterest sucked me in with all the pretty nail polish posts and it made me long for bright colored crazy nails. Even though my natural nails are pretty thin and I bite them like freaking crazy, I decided to start the grow out process.
Then, this weekend I saw a color I
NEEDED on Pinterest.

It's from the
China Glaze Hunger Games collection and it's called Fast Track. Now, even though I just started the Hunger Games series and am hooked, that is not why I drove straight to Ulta last night and bought it right up. I think it is just gorgeous. I was so excited to wake up this morning and put it on my poorly growing out nails. Please excuse the weird grow out lines in the middles...

The best part was that I was able to buy a four pack color combo with three other LOVELY shades in it! I put the glittery black
Smoke and Ashes on my toesies last night!!!
Since, I'm so into this whole nail polish craze, does anyone have any suggestions for some fierce color combos???
