Oh Monday...

To start: The last couple of posts have been pretty intense (for me) but they've felt really good. I'm glad I have a place that I can let myself be at least a little exposed, and feel totally supported by my blogger friends. Thanks again ladies... The next few weeks might be kinda rough and I'll need some sweet words.

Anyway, today is Monday. Not much to say about Mondays... we dread them but at the same time, they are necessary to get through to the weekend. They are a new, fresh start, which often feels nice. My Monday was so stereotypical, there aren't many words to describe it so I will just say that you know it's Monday when...

-You hit the snooze until 6:20 when you have to be out of the house by 7
-It seems like a great victory that your dad woke up before you and made the coffee this morning
-The drive to work does not seem long enough, nor does the line at the gate to get onto base

and finally, and perhaps most appropriate...

your 3rd grade student walks into school with a cup. of. freakin. coffee. because (as his mother put it) "He just couldn't wake up this morning."

Oh Monday...

100 is coming up next! Look out for a special surprise for my loyal readers!!!
