I've Been a Bad Blogger

I apologize for my long absences lately. I don't even know why you lovely ladies are still even interested! But, I'm still very glad you all continue to come back and read!

I've been incredibly busy this week, so I'm just going to give a quick recap of everything that's been going on. First of all, I got my window fixed. Still not tinted and looking silly compared to the rest of the windows, but it is at least in tact again.

I've also been crazy busy with swim lessons, and trying to finish them up this week. The pool board is being really difficult about the whole situation and I frankly need some good advice, but that's another problem for another post....

Last Saturday, I met up with some of my co-workers from MVES to go on a Margarita Bar Tour around Baltimore. We went to a few bars who are most known for yummy margaritas and hung out and even got to watch a bit of the world cup. I'm not very big on margaritas, but it was really great to spend some time with these girls!
On Tuesday night, a group of friends and I waited in line to see the premier of the new Twilight movie, Eclipse. All of us got hooked on the books around the same time and it's been a tradition to go to the midnight premier ever since the first movie. As the movies have gone on, the crowds have become bigger and younger, but it's still a good time. I still prefer the books but I wasn't complaining about staring at Taylor Lautner for two hours! Has anyone else seen Eclipse yet? What did you think of it compared to the book?

Wednesday, my best friend Shannon celebrated her 24th birthday at a small plates restaurant in Annapolis. The food was really delicious and I loved getting to catch up with so many of my Phi Mu sisters.

One of Shannon's friends commented on how great it was that so many of us still came together and hung out, even more than two years out of college for some of us. I could not agree more. I feel so lucky to have my sisters so close, both literally and figuratively.

I got to spend some good, quality time with my Little, both at dinner and afterward in downtown Annapolis. She lives in North Carolina now, and it's so different to not see or talk to her everyday like we did in college! I really feel lucky for my time with her now-a-days.

Friday, I watched one of my oldest friends, Katie get married! Katie and I were friends in high school, and have not been able to stay quite as close as time has gone on. I was so happy to get to spend such a special day with her, though, regardless of how our friendship has changed over the years. She looked so happy and I am so happy for her and her new husband!

Finally, at the end of this jam-packed week, I headed over to Kent Island to meet Antonio and his family to celebrate the Fourth of July. Every year, they have a huge party at their gorgeous house on the Chesapeake Bay. Antonio and I were lucky enough to get to stay for the entire weekend and it was definitely relaxing. We ate too much, drank too much, and slept too much. We also spent time with his brother who lives in Pennsylvania, which was great since we don't get to see him much. We spent some time jet skiing, boating, tubing, wakeboarding and of course, searching for sea glass on the beach. (Because I'm a huge nerd with an obsession.) Here are a few fun pictures:
